The "Ștefan cel Mare" University of Suceava (USV) is one of the most dynamic institutions in higher education in Eastern Europe, with a tradition of over 50 years in the field. The nine faculties of USV offer degree programs with a duration of 3 or 4 years, masters studies, doctorate and post-doctoral studies in fields such as humanities, technical, economics, natural sciences and health.
The diversity of programs gives our academic institution the ability to cope successfully the challenges of a constantly changing society. USV preserves and promotes cultural diversity, multicultural interference and pursues strengthening relations with other countries. Internationalization goes beyond borders and implies a universalization of academic knowledge and practices.
In a rapidly changing environment, USV aims to capitalize on its experiences international students and teachers, to contribute to the development of an academic community able to adapt to global changes, which train specialists prepared to integrate into a market international labor force.
Located in Bukovina, a region in North-Eastern Romania, USV is an innovative and comprehensive public higher education institution that organizes Bachelor, Master, Doctoral and Postdoctoral programs and conducts scientific research in the fields of Economic Sciences, Technical Sciences, Engineering and IT, Natural Sciences, Humanities and Health.
The first university in Romania in terms of number of patents and inventions over the last decade, it plays a determinant role in the development and sharing of scientific knowledge. Since its foundation in 1963, our university has constituted a powerful presence in a city of more than a hundred thousand inhabitants, decisively contributing to building a modern identity for the community, in the geopolitical context of regional development.

- postgraduate training or specialization lasting between 4 months and 2 years

- PhD in the fields of: Electronic and telecommunications engineering, Computers and information technology, Electrical engineering.
The faculty prepares specialists in high-tech fields well-known on the world labor market:
- software engineering, hardware engineering, information and communications technologies, artificial intelligence, intranet / Internet application design;
- industrial automation, microcontrollers, industrial computer networks;
- consumer electronics, radiotechnics, medical electronics, television, mobile communications, digital processing of audio and video signals, power electronics, microwaves, computer-aided design (CAD);
- designing of electric machines, electric drives, electrothermal, industrial robots and manipulators, movers;
- thermal installations and networks, use of electricity, electrical networks, overvoltages and insulation, inventiveness;
- economic engineering in energy, electronics and electrotechnics.
